The charm of these projects is in the random placement of the fabric triangles. A different fabric of five coordinates appears twice in each of the hexagons.

Five fat quarters will make a set of four placemats (16 1/2″ x 14″) or one of the two shown runners or a combination of them (13″ x 33″ or 43″ or longer).
