This is DermaHarmony’s first Sulfur & Salicylic Acid Soap — a natural bar containing 10% sulfur and 3% salicylic acid. Soaps with this combination and strength have been commercially available since 1960 and are widely appreciated by people with challenging or “problem” skin types.

DermaHarmony 10% Sulfur + 3% Salicylic Acid vegetable-based bar soap was especially formulated with just a few ingredients for sensitive skin. It is a terrific cleansing soap for acne and dandruff. The uses of sulfur and salicylic acid are many and well documented online—the properties of sulfur and salicylic acid have been known since ancient Greeks times. Our soap is safe for everyday use by adults and children and is good for all skin types.

We've added a soy-derived natural odor eliminator to help control the sulfur smell. This bar smells like sulfur or thiols. Your 'thiol' sensitivity will dictate if you like the smell of this soap or not. Setting aside smell, this is one very effective soap.

DIRECTIONS

For best results use daily. Work-up a lather using warm water and gently massage into problem areas. Soap should stay in contact with skin for at least 60-90 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because some users experience a drying of their skin when using soaps, start with a small test application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If desired, follow cleansing with the moisturizer of your choosing.

WARNINGS

For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. Avoid contact with eyes. If soap get into eyes, rinse with water. If swallowed, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Sulfur will tarnish sterling silver jewelry.
